• Start or End: I started at my hotel at the corner of Chang'an West Road and Chengde Road, Datong District (Google Map Directions) and finished at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Train Station (Google Map Directions).
• Length: 14.9km (9.3mi) in about 5hr
• Grade: Easy to Medium. A long walk, but the path is very flat and there are plentiful public transport facilities and places to eat and rest.
