An Urban Hike Around Asakusa and the Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo, Japan

A visit to Senso-ji (the oldest temple in Tokyo), Tokyo Skytree (the tallest structure in Japan) and the Asahi Super Dry Beer Hall (Headquarters of Japan's most famous beer).

  • Location: The Districts of Ueno, Asakusa and Sumida, Tokyo, Japan
  • Start or End: Started and ended at the Ueno Terminal Hotel (our accommodation). Easiest access to the main sights would be Asakusa Station (there are two, so either one) or the Tokyo Skytree Station.
  • Length: 9.5km (5.9mi)
  • Grade: Easy. Flat and fully paved.
