Hiking Mount Jinba and Mount Takao

• Start or End: I started at the bus stop at Jinba Kogen-shita (Google Map Directions), accessed via bus 32 from Takao train station, and finished at Takaosanguchi train station (Google Map Directions).
• Length: 16.8km (10.4mi) in about 6.5hr
• Grade: Moderate, the paths are well maintained and signage clear. There is a 500m elevation gain to Mount Jinba, but it isn't that bad. From Mount Jinba to Mount Takao the path undulates up and down but is a fairly flat and relaxing walk. From Mount Takao, it is all downhill.
