The Facts

  • Start or End: I started at the bus stop on Old Coast Road, Wannanup, near the corner of Merrivale Street and Estuary Place (Google Map Directions), and finished at the bus stop on Leslie Street, Dudley Park (Google Map Directions). In hindsight, I should have started further north as a large section of the bushland on the coast is littered with “No Trespassing” signs (you can see on the map that I had to enter the suburban streets to get around). Probably best to start at Pleasant Grove Reserve on Pleasant Grove Circuit (Google Map Directions).
  • Length: 15.7km (9.8mi) in about 4hr
  • Grade: Easy to Medium. Good quality paths the whole way and very flat. In the medium category due to length.
  • Date Walked: 15th of April 2017

The Story

A morning walk along Collins Pool involves plenty of wetlands, wind, under bridge platforms and an amazing amount of No Trespassing signs.
